Brief Introduction

Shuoyao Wang, IEEE Senior Member, received the B.Eng. and Ph.D. degrees in information engineering from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, in 2013 and 2018, respectively. From 2018 to 2020, he was a Senior Researcher with Tencent, China. Since 2020, he has been with the College of Electronic and Information Engineering, Shenzhen University, China, where he is currently an Associate Professor. His research interests mainly involve machine learning and optimization theory in multimedia communications, wireless communications, and semantic communications.  He was a co-recipient of the Best Paper Award from IEEE ICC 2024. He is currently on the editorial board of IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing and IEEE Open Journal of Communication Society.
