Brief Introduction

Shida Zhong received the B.Sc. degree in electronics engineering from Shenzhen University, Shenzhen, China, in 2008, and the M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electronics and electrical engineering from the University of Southampton, Southampton, U.K., in 2009 and 2013, respectively. From 2013 to 2017, he was a Research Fellow with the School of Electronics and Computer Science, University of Southampton. From 2016 to 2018, he was a Founding Member with the spin-out company AccelerComm Ltd., Southampton. He is currently an Assistant Professor with the College of Electronics and Information Engineering, Shenzhen University. His current research interests include low power IC design, antenna selection for massive MIMO, FPGA and ASIC implementations for next-generation channel coding system, joint algorithm and hardware codesign for edge computing.
