2. Self-Introduction
Bao Youneng received his Bachelor's degree from Harbin Engineering University in 2016 and his Master's degree from Dalian University of Technology in 2019. He received his Ph.D. from Harbin Institute of Technology in November 2024 (supervisor: Prof. Liang Yongsheng). Since December 2025, he has been working in the team of Academician Ding Wenhua at the College of Electronics and Information Engineering, Shenzhen University.
He has long been committed to research on "Intelligent Compression and Efficient Computing", focusing on areas such as multimedia visual data compression, AI model compression, and dataset compression. His aim is to reduce the resource consumption of AI systems throughout the entire process of storage, deployment, and training through technological means.
In the past five years, he has published over 10 papers as the first or corresponding author in authoritative journals/conferences such as ICCV, AAAI, and T-CSVT. He serves as a reviewer for renowned publications including IEEE T-IP, T-CSVT, CVPR, and ICCV.
