Brief Biography

Yejun He received the Ph.D. degree in Information and Communication Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST), Wuhan, China, in 2005. He was a Visiting Professor with the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, University of Waterloo, Waterloo, ON, Canada in 2012 and an Advanced Visiting Scholar (Visiting Professor) with the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA, USA from 2013 to 2015. He is Pengcheng Scholar Distinguished Professor, and a full professor with the College of Electronics and Information Engineering, Shenzhen University, China, where Dr. He is the Director of Guangdong Engineering Research Center of Base Station Antennas and Propagation, and the Director of Shenzhen Key Laboratory of Antennas and Propagation, Shenzhen, China. He has authored or coauthored over 260 research papers and 7 books. He holds about twenty patents. His research interests include wireless mobile communication, antennas and radio frequency. He is serving as Associate Editor of IEEE Transactions on Antennas and Propagation, IEEE Transactions on Mobile Computing,IEEE Antennas and Wireless Propagation Letters,IEEE Antennas and Propagation Magazine, China Communications, International Journal of Communication Systems, as well as ZTE Communications. He served as an Associate Editor of IEEE Network. He has been a Fellow of The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) since 2016, the Chair of IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society-Shenzhen Chapter since 2018, and a Senior Member of The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) since 2009.
