New Achievements and Breakthroughs! Our College Wins Multiple Honors at the 21st China Graduate Electronics Design Competition

Time:2026-09-09

Recently, all events of the 21st China Graduate Electronics Design Competition have concluded. Guided by the Department of Degree Management and Graduate Education of the Ministry of Education, the competition is co‑sponsored by the Chinese Institute of Electronics, the Chinese Society of Academic Degrees and Graduate Education, and the China Association for Science and Technology Center for Youth Science and Technology. It ranks among China’s most prestigious graduate science and innovation competitions in the electronic‑information sector, boasting the highest standards, broadest coverage and strongest industry recognition.

Fierce competition marked this year’s event. Through coordinated organization of the college, dedicated guidance from supervisors and diligent efforts of students, our participants have achieved fruitful results. Student teams won 5 National First Prizes, 5 National Second Prizes and 6 National Third Prizes, alongside 12 South China Division First Prizes, 3 South China Division Second Prizes and 6 South China Division Third Prizes. Four faculty members were honored as Outstanding Supervisors, and Shenzhen University received the Excellent Organization Award.

Both the quantity and level of awards secured by our teachers and students in this competition have reached new heights. These achievements fully demonstrate the solid professional competence and outstanding engineering‑innovation capabilities of our graduate students, reflect the high‑caliber guidance provided by our faculty supervisors, and testify to the robust organization, coordination and service support delivered by the university and our college as the host of the South China Division.

These remarkable accomplishments are a concentrated reflection of our college’s effectiveness in cultivating innovative graduate talents. Rooted in the core of the Guangdong‑Hong Kong‑Macao Greater Bay Area and aligned with industrial realities, the college continues to deepen integration of science‑education and industry‑education resources, developing a three‑dimensional talent‑training model featuring “scientific research training + engineering practice + competition‑driven refinement”. Upholding the philosophy of boosting learning, research and innovation through competitions, the college promotes in‑depth integration of disciplinary frontiers, real‑world industrial challenges and graduate research projects. It strongly supports student participation in high‑level science and innovation competitions, guiding students to hone their skills and pursue innovation in real‑life research projects. Moving forward, the college will further consolidate the foundation for innovative graduate education, refine the training system for high‑caliber innovative talents, connect disciplinary development, scientific‑research breakthroughs and industrial application, and strive to cultivate more top‑tier innovative talents, thus providing solid talent and intellectual support for the high‑quality development of the electronic‑information industry.
